Valedictorian

I won't eb valedictorian. Not that I really want to. I mean sure it's got amazing perks and looks good on your applications but I'm one of those don't care types. I get A's and B's and these make me happy.

There is only one reason I would want to be a valedictorian. I want to give a speech at graduation. It's probably a good thing too. Because I would go up there and completely launch into Jack Sparrows 'what a man can do and what a man can't do' speech.

"The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't. But pirate is in your blood, boy, so you'll have to square with that some day. And me, for example, I can let you drown, but I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesies, savvy? So, can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not? "

Sure it'd be confusing. People would look around with a wth kind of look on their face. But I'd feel acomplished.

Haha. This post just goes to show I'm crazy. But entertaining nonetheless.

I would laugh. Hard. I'm glad you reminded me how that speech goes, I totally forgot. Oh, and good job on the creativity lol

Becoming the Valedictorian is a good goal, but, not one that all seek. The Key to life is finding your passion and make a living doing that.
If it be giving a speech, then Arrrrr! Matie, go for it. For tis far better to have set sail seeking ones dreams, than to have remained in the harbor and wonder....what could have been.
